We found this final comment on a message board at confetti.co.uk in response to the question "Has anyone ever booked a band from Alive Network) Here's what a previous client wrote in response............

"We booked a band called Fat Cats for our wedding last September - this was through Alive Network. The band were excellent - we had loads of comments about how good they were and how different it was to have a band - and they have since played at my sister's university May Ball.
We had no problems with the bloke, Dave Bevan, who runs the agency and he helped us loads in trying to decide what to have. We wanted a jazz band and he was able to send us demos of different ones he had available but Fat Cats stood out to us.
We paid a 'booking fee' to the agent first then the rest of the money in cash to the band on the night. We weren't able to see them before our wedding, although I think they did have some public gigs (I know they have had some since), but we went on the strength of their demo CD and weren't disappointed.
And no I don't work for Alive Network!! Just had an excellent day which they helped make."- Helen
