Hipster are a party band with a difference. Whilst all of
Hipster’s songs are instantly recognisable to everyone
and suitable for all age groups, the band still manage to
generate a fresh and unique sound full of enthusiasm and
finesse. Their live performance is both lively and interactive,
encouraging the audience to dance, sing and even to join
the band on stage.
Hipster’s
music is great for parties! If you want your guests to dance
and have a great time then Hipster are the band for the
job. With over 50 top 10 hits from the last 4 decades, totalling
more than 3 hours of playing time if needed, Hipster’s
set list includes something for everyone. Older guests will
enjoy numerous songs by the Beatles, Van Morrison, Commitments,
Katrina and the Waves and Rock n’ Roll heroes of the
50’s, whilst the youngest guests will enjoy songs by
Robbie Williams, Blur, Blink 182, Wheatus, Reef, Oasis and
Travis.
Hipster’s
music is versatile and can be adapted to suit the occasion.
Sets can be tailored to suit a more mellow atmosphere if
required, the band substituting the more raucous songs for
the likes of the Beatles, Crowded House, Travis, and Van
Morrison. However, where Hipster really come into their
own is getting people to celebrate and PARTY! Hipster get
everyone on the dance floor. Hipster will turn any event

Coopers Arms (Derby), Crewe Hall, Sandon Hall (Staffs),
Thistle Hotel (Grasmere), Nailcoat Hall, Berry Head Hotel
(Torbay), Marriot Hotel (Liverpool), Ettington Park Hotel
(Warwickshire), Dean Water Hotel (Alderly Edge), The Westwood
Country Hotel (Oxford), The Hilton Bracknel, Nettlestead
Place, Weston Mannor (Oxford) and more.
For
New Years Eve 2001 they played as far a field as Singapore,
where they were booked to perform for 3 weeks at an Irish
bar called Muddy Murphy’s.
Hipster

The Road House (Covent Garden), Lancashire Uni, Surrey Institute
of art and design, Reading Uni, Liverpool Uni, Leeds Uni,
Brunnel Uni, Swansea Uni, St Martins Uni, various Chicago

Hewlett Packard, The National Motorcycle museum to name
