About Sway
Sway have been performing covers since 1997 and still have the same line up 10 years on. Before that, Sway played original material as "The Listening Room" dating back to 1988.
Sway are a four piece, all male line up and are still only in their thirties. They perform well known songs covering the past 4 decades from The Beatles to Elvis, right up to Kaiser Chiefs and Snow Patrol. Need a disco between sets? No problem and at no extra charge!
Sway are an exceptionally good value four piece band, who’s line up consists of Vocals/Guitar, Lead Guitar, Guitar synth/Vocals, Bass, and drums. Sway’s repertoire will adapt to the style of your event. They’re excellent at getting the crowd up and will keep the dance floor full.
Appealing to all age groups, Sway will make it a night to remember - just read the reviews that organisers have put in their feedback to Alive Network. The band are ‘self contained’ and come well equipped with their own P.A. system, lighting, and backline.
Based in Cheshire, they’ve played prestigious venues all over the UK. They can perform for over 2 hours from their electric rock and pop repertoire. And if desired, a more mellow acoustic set can be added for a more subtle part of your evening.
Sway have a Rock and Pop guitar based sound, from four very competent musicians, which really comes across live. They still love working together even now, after all these years.
There is no need to book a separate disco, just let them know that you require one and they will fit around there performances. A member of the band is there to ensure the music is flowing and that the guests are entertained.
Do you have any requests? Is there anything you would like to hear, want a song or a CD playing? If so, just let them know in advance and they’re only to happy to oblige!
It’s Sway’s aim to please, so if there is anything they can do to make your night a success, then don’t be afraid to ask, So bring along your best voices and your dancing shoes, as audience participation is FREE!

Sway were fantastic, great sound and vocals, very professional, helpful and friendly. Many of our guests commented throughout the evening how good they were and where did we find them. Sway were brilliant. Very flexible and relaxed to work with. Professional and of course great singers! They had everyone dancing and the variety of songs they sang was really impressive. We were absolutely delighted with Sway, they arrived exactly on time were very charming and professional right up until the end of the night. Right from first booking Sway through your agency to the performance on the 10th November everything went very smoothly.
The balance of music was spot on for all cross sections of the guests aged between 20 and mid 60's Sway got it just right everyone was up dancing the music was brilliant.

We have two main comments to make about our booking:
1) Myself and my new husband loved the band!
2) All of our guests loved the band!
Our whole experience with Alive Network has been efficient, professional, and most of all very friendly! It didn't matter how many times I called there was always a helpful voice on the phone.
Organising a wedding is a huge and stressful event, which has been made a whole lot easier by using your company. I always felt very confident in the service which you provided.
I have put in the post a thank you card which I hope you can forward on to the band also. They are lovely guys who did their best to accommodate all our wishes. We have no complaints what so ever and would definitely recommend them and your agency to others.
A big thank you for making our entertainment so enjoyable - we couldn't stop dancing!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you. Only my second day back at work, so apologies in the delay getting back to you.
Sway were absolutely fantastic! The guys were very talented and their choice of songs was spot-on for the broad audience - there wasn't a space on the dance floor all night. The guys even got us involved - Leanne and her bridesmaids were backing singers for a lovely rendition of Mustang Sally and myself, my groom and my ushers were called upon to perform a strip tease to 'you can keep your hat on' from the Full Monty. Very embarrassing for us, but great fun for everyone else. We couldn't have asked for any more from them - they even stayed and played an extra half hour.
Sway really added a special spark to our wedding reception and ensured it was an evening to remember - we even had friends on top of each others shoulders by the end of the evening!
We would whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone else looking for a band for their wedding reception - they won't be disappointed.
Please pass are sincere thanks on to the guys - they helped make our wedding absolutely perfect.

We would like to say an enormous thank you to all for a fantastic night’s entertainment.
You really did provide an all round fantastic set, of which all ages loved and have commented on. Billy Idol’s White Wedding is a lovely touch! We both love music and having a live band was a big part of our dream wedding – you really did exceed our expectations. We just couldn’t stop dancing!!!
We will definitely recommend you to others and we enjoyed every minute (especially the freestyle drumming!!)
