This investment of time into vetting, developing and monitoring our artists is something which sets Alive Network apart. Alive Network was the first company to embrace new technology and enable all our artists to reach a wider audience via the internet. We were the first company to put all of the information our customers needed online with detailed artist profiles, online quoting, availability checking, audio downloads & comprehensive search facilities. We are still the only company to offer all of these facilities.
More recently, we have made our entire business carbon neutral, including offsetting emissions for the artist travel mileage associated with every event booked through our agency. Emissions are offset by buying 'Certified Emission Reductions' from the Carbon Passport program.

We are a Carbon Neutral Business
Alive Network is the first and only entertainment agency to offer Carbon Neutral bookings as standard!
As of July 2008 we offset all of our own business emissions (staff travel, heating, electric etc) via the ’Carbon Passport’ program, and the emissions associated with your chosen artist(s) traveling to and from your event will also be automatically calculated and offset.
From July 2008 to July 2009 we aim to offset approximately 750,000 miles worth of artist travel CO2 emissions.
Money paid to the Carbon Passport scheme is used to buy credits called Certified Emission Reductions (CERs).
CERs are only issued to projects approved under the Clean Development Mechanism of the Kyoto Treaty. These projects are subjected to rigorous qualification procedures and ongoing monitoring. CERs are only awarded to projects that would not have taken place without the revenue from CERs. Once created, CERs are tracked through government run electronic registries.
CERs help to fund projects in the developing world which reduce emissions of greenhouse gases. Examples include wind farms, energy efficiency projects and electricity generation from landfill gas.
