“Mairi performed at our wedding on the 2nd September in York and I can't thank her enough for making it so special. Mairi created such a beautiful atmosphere and she is incredibly talented. So many of our guests commented how beautiful she was and couldn't believe it was live music. I'm just gutted I couldn't have experienced more myself! Thank you so much, I am so happy we booked you for our special day and I'll be recommending you always.”

“Mairi performed at our wedding at Howard Court on 26th August 2023. She was absolutely amazing, she learnt 3 new songs for our wedding, including ’I choose you’ to walk down the aisle. There wasn’t a dry eye in the ceremony. Her voice is so pure and beautiful, she is also a very lovely person and the process from booking to the wedding day was so easy, professional and enjoyable. Our guests loved her too! We would highly recommend Mairi - Lynda and Mick”

“Mairi performed at our wedding on 14th August 2023, and I really could not recommend her enough. From our very first contact with her, she was amazing. She was so helpful in picking our song choices, even learning two new songs for our ceremony and sending us clips to make sure we were happy with them. Her voice and style is just incredible. Listening back to the recordings she sent us never fails to give me goosebumps (and teary eyes!) ???? The booking process was super straightforward, and she kept in regular contact with us all the way through. It was such a great experience to have some chats with us leading up to the day, sharing in our excitement and making us feel really special! On the day, she created such a beautiful atmosphere and was just exactly what we wanted. Our guests all loved her sets and we really couldn’t have asked for more. Even after the wedding, she really went above and beyond, sending us some clips and pictures she’d taken which were just great to look back on and we were so grateful! Such a thoughtful touch! We really can’t thank you enough Mairi, you made our day really special! We can’t wait for another occasion we can book you for!”

“We were lucky enough to secure Mairi for our wedding on the 20th October 2022. I knew she would be perfect for our personal, intimate ceremony at The Priests House in Skipton. Communication was excellent and there was a willingness to learn a few songs that were special to us. Importantly, Mairi had an instinctive understanding of our requirements and I gave her a extra special brief with links to versions of the original song I wanted to walk down the isle to in acknowledgement of my father who sadly passed away before I had chance to meet him. I knew few things about him, but I did know his favourite artist and one of his most loved songs during the time he was together with my mother. I also know we have a similar taste in music as I love ‘Sailing’ by Christopher Cross too and incorporating it into the day somehow gave me a piece of him with me, something tangible. Or should I say, Mairi gave me that and I will be forever thankful for her sensitivity. She truly embraced the story and preformed beautifully. So many guests commented on our beautiful singing pianist and said how amazing Shona was. It wouldn’t have been as special without her.”

She kept in touch with me leading up to our wedding and was very professional throughout. My only regret is I didn't book her for our wedding reception too.
