“I found the whole booking process through Alive Network very simple and Gemma was always on hand to answer any questions I had. Mark was wonderful to deal with leading up to our wedding. We booked Mark for our drinks reception and he was more than happy to bring an electronic keyboard just in case it was nice weather for him to be outside. We had decided on him doing up to two hours straight and for him to play his own selection of pop songs and movie sound tracks. We were so fortunate that it was a beautiful sunny day. I wanted you to know that you pitched your performance perfectly for the event even though I suspected a slower start than actually happened. “If I could sum it up in one word, it would be exceptional. Far in advance of the actual wedding date, Joe contacted me personally (even though he was not obliged to) to discuss details of the wedding and the music we wanted. He was incredibly accommodating as we had a few requests, some songs that he already knew and one he had to learn, as well as gaps where I asked if he could use his own judgement and play what he thought was suitable. I was not disappointed. The songs we asked, he specifically tailored to the events of the ceremony (bridal entrance etc.) and in the gaps, he chose music that suited the occasion perfectly. On the day, Antonia and Joe were well-dressed, punctual and the utmost professionals. Their playing was flawless and made my new mother-in-law cry constantly which I suppose is a testament to their music. I would not hesitate to hire them again for another event and I would definitely recommend getting the violin accompaniment as they complement each other very well. All in all, thank you Joe and Antonia for setting the tone of the wedding and making it a day we'll always remember. Just also wanted to mention Alive network, your service was very slick and made it incredibly easy to organise a musician at our wedding and we'll definitely use your services again.
