They arrived on time, were clean and tidy, lovely to everyone and then quite brilliant on stage. They had everyone up and dancing right to the very end, even my 88 year old father-in-law! I could not recommend them more highly. They really listened to what the bride and groom wanted and performed accordingly, making them the centre of everything. Exceeded expectations and some. “The Leaners played my father’s 80th birthday party at The Hurlingham Club. The dancefloor filled from the first set, and guests of every age were up dancing. Erica was excellent to deal with in the run-up. She answered every question quickly and worked around a pianist, two rooms, and the venue’s 80dB limit. The band built both sets around our requests, from folk early on to rock to close. They also learned Go Your Own Way especially for the night. Highly recommended for any private party.”

The dancefloor was constantly full, and we genuinely had the best time dancing to their amazing set. The communication before the wedding was seamless, and we were very grateful to have the opportunity to go through their repitorie of songs to highlight the ones we really wanted to hear (which we did!!). Thank you Holly and band, you were fantastic!”

“Just wanted to say thank you for honestly such an incredible performance at our wedding. SO many guests came up to us and said "the band is just so so good". We've been to a lot of weddings the last few years and you were by far and away the best band we've seen at one. It really made the evening such a fun party, and it's a testament to the performance that almost all of our guests were in the space and dancing for both two sets. A few moments that stood out were everyone getting low before the insomnia riff, some incredible saxophoning, you coming out into the crowd, and the keyboardist replaying some riffs that our little niece Eden was enjoying before the first set started. One other thing I'd add is that the volume and sound quality were just perfect. So often at weddings you can't hear what people are saying, and it was just right. And thank you so much for learning our first dance song, it sounded amazing!”
