Armed with an infectious energy, great musicianship and a varied setlist of songs from the 60s to the present day (including The Beatles, Harry Styles, Foo Fighters, Stevie Wonder, blink-182 and many more), they’ll turn any event into a real party!
Made up of professional graduates from the British and Irish Modern Music Institute and the University of Salford, Overdrive have a huge amount of musical experience between them – from featuring on nationwide Italian television and jamming with members of Nile Rodgers & Chic, to performing at Manchester’s iconic Band on the Wall and airplay on BBC Radio 1: they’ve done it all. You can be confident that you’re booking a high-quality, experienced group of musicians who truly love what they do – getting people up and dancing!
Overdrive guarantee an easy booking process so your event runs as smoothly as possible; they pride themselves on being professional, flexible and easy to work with. “Overdrive were absolutely amazing for our wedding! We loved their songs on alivenetwork but i suppose you never really know how someone is going to be live! Despite it being the hottest day of the year, in a marquee that felt like 34 degrees and people wanting to be outside to try and cool down, they got the party rocking, got everyone dancing and sounded amazing!! We were so happy with them and their choice of songs and a plus, all four of them were super lovely, cool guys! They were very grateful for the refreshments and set up we sorted for them which was nice. There were a few timing issues with the food that ended up changing the schedule of the day and they just changed it to suit everyone without a fuss. Cannot fault them and we feel they were amazing value for money. Would 100% recommend!”
