After meeting on the indie band circuit in London and all singer-songwriters in their own right, The Three of Us formed over their love of jazz.

Lead vocalist, Rebecca Whitbread, leads her own indie band, Lovelace, her last album hailed by Lauren Laverne on BBC Radio 6 Music as well as other well-known DJs. She has a number of other collaborations, writes and records vocals for electric music producers in France and also works as a vocal coach. She has performed at Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party and had multiple gigs in Germany, France and the States. Her own music is very much influenced by an early love of jazz and her work in the theatre as a professional actress, her career before she found music. She trained at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.

Piano accompanist, Aaron King, is a writer, singer and composer working with music for TV, London
DJs, such as Medlar and Malin Linnéa, as well as leading his own band, King Casio. Aaron has written music for France TV News and has curated and written music for an immersive comic book exhibition in Malmö, Sweden. One recent project involved writing the soundtrack for a documentary showcased at the South Kensington Dolls House Festival. He’s played gigs at the O2, Glastonbury and Brighton’s Concorde 2. He completed his degree in music and visual arts in 2010 at Brighton University.

The band’s percussionist and drummer, Otti Albietz is a songwriter and vocalist leading Otti And The Voices, as well as a number of other musical collaborations, improvisation ensembles and studio projects. His work has been released by music label BBE (J-Dilla, will.i.am, Spoek Mathambo, Phantogram). He was recently commissioned to write an a cappella piece and direct a choir for the ROOT 1066 International Festival, and is working with Barefoot Opera as an assistant compose developing an Opera for a 2020 launch.
