Modern, high energy, party band, The Kicks were booked to perform at the wedding of Lyndsey and Carl Winwood at Aston Villa Football Club on 23rd September.

The Kicks arrive at suite 1874 at Villa Park - Home of Aston Villa Football Club.



It's a bit of a squeeze but most of the kit, and most of the band, are in the lift.



The Kicks are set up and sound-checked in good time before sundown and the arrival of the guests.





The Kicks set list... although the band will adapt it to suit the audience this evening!



Carl, the groom, had a special request for the first dance.  He asked the band to DJ Phil Collins - You Will Be In My Heart but swap it for Baggy Trousers by Madness half way through as an extra special surprise for the bride!

The Kicks start the live entertainment with 'All These Small Things' by Blink 182 as requested by Lyndsey and Carl. (complete with the band unique dance moves!)





Ian (drums, vocals, acrobatics) sings this one whilst standing on his drum kit...



... which seems to be going down pretty well!







An impromptu karaoke session transpires between the bands live sets.



The last set has everyone up and dancing!









We had a great night, lovely clients, fantastic venue. We were really well looked after with our own Executive box overlooking the football pitch. The main room was amazing with vistas over the pitch and a bar at either side. We really enjoyed playing from a stage - made a nice change, and by the end of the night the crowd were really going for it and very appreciative. - Ian, The Kicks
