The Soul Boys are a professional, fun, exciting and reliable three piece band from Warrington, England. Since forming, the lads have gigged constantly all over Britain, forging a reputation as one of the tightest and brightest live bands on the circuit.
They bring you the best of sixties Pop, Soul and Motown with their unique garage sound and soaring harmonies. Sure to get your party on its feet, this feel good band are one of the most sought after party bands in the Northwest. In 2010 they reached the grand final of the UKs largest competition for unsigned artists "Live & Unsigned 2010" and performed at the O2 Arena in London.
Each member of the band is a vastly experienced musician, which means all songs are performed to a professional standard. As well as a combined 20 years of experience, the band have been performing as a trio since 2008 which means they are extremely tight and polished.
The band are huge fans of sixties pop and soul music, so you can expect to hear big hits from Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, The Beatles, The Spencer Davis Group, The Kinks and The Jackson 5 to name but a few!
The Soul Boys cater directly to the clients' needs, working with them to create a memorable night that is as professional as it is entertaining. The evening’s proceedings can be organised by a band member acting as an MC if required for example ensuring your wedding guests congregate for the first dance.
Acoustic Set The Soul Boys can perform acoustic versions of all the songs listed in their repertoire, either as a duo or a solo act. However they also perform a special acoustic set list (see repertoire), ideal for a drinks reception or low key event.

"We are always quite sceptical about online feedback, however the feedback listed on this site for the Soul Boys is spot on! They were brilliant and our guests screamed at them to play an encore at the end of the set, and they willingly obliged. One of the issues we had with other Motown/soul bands is that they lacked the 'cool' factor in terms of being youthful and dressing the part, which is one of the key reasons we went with the Soul Boys. These guys are professional, polite and play great tunes. We cannot recommend them enough.
Thanks to the Alive Network! The service was brilliant from Clare, our account manager. Without the Alive Network it would have been much harder to find good live music for our wedding. Keep up the good work :-)

"We booked The Soul Boys to play at our wedding and given our love for soul and motown music, this is what led us to them.
We chose the Soul Boys without seeing them perform which we were initially nervous about. However, we felt that the feedback for them was so strong that it would all work out! We were so right!
The Soul Boys were fantastic. They were smart, professional and really friendly. They played fantastic songs and also DJ-ed the event. The guests all loved them and I think they developed a few ‘groupies’ by the end of the night! Everybody commented on how absolutely brilliant they were and we could not have been happier with the guys.
I would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody and I urge anybody reading this to go ahead and book this band! They really will get the party going and appeal to all ages. Thanks guys!"

"Alive Network were brilliant to work with. They were happy to help with any concerns and they got back to us quickly when we needed to talk to them about anything.
The Soul Boys made our wedding! Our guests were up dancing all night from 13 to 70+ year olds! We are so happy we went with them. Musically they are fantastic and they were really friendly to everyone. They have loads of great song choices and I would definitely recommend The Soul Boys for any party event.

"The Soul Boys were outstanding! Friendly, professional and extremely entertaining. Our wedding was relatively small but the music managed to include something for everyone and most of our guests were dancing at some point!
My personal favourite was the extra effort the Soul Boys put in to learn a few songs for an acoustic set we really wanted for our ceremony and our first song which was quite different to their usual style (this song, in particular, was carried off with conviction and exactly what we had hoped for.)
I would highly recommend them to anyone lucky enough to have a celebration coming up and we hope they continue making people happy with their talents."

"We were thrilled with every aspect of the sevice we recieved from alive network and in particular with The Soul Boys. They were absolutely fantastic on our wedding in April, everyone loved them! They were superb showmen and gave an amazing performance from start to end.
We also booked them for DJing between their sets and they did a brill job of that too. But out of everything the thing that stood out for me was our first dance, as a special request they learned You're My Best Friend by Queen, I was a bit nervous because they were adapting it slightly to fit their style and I wouldn't get to hear it till the day but, trust me, it was worth it. They did a STUNNING job and I will never forget it. Thanks boys, you were amazing!"

"The Soul Boys were exceptional. I would defiantly recommend this band for anyone into this type of music. They played an acoustic version of our first dance song, 'Must Be Love' by Madness, which was awesome. They took requests from our guest and were very friendly to everyone. They also brought a good song list to play between sets.
Every single one of our guest commented on how great the band were! No lie. I am so relieved we booked them as we were worried about finding a good band.

"The Soul Boys played at my 30th party at the Madejski Stadium recently and were absolutely fantastic. The song choice was outstanding, great for all ages and they were well prepared, great fun for the guests and extremeley professional.
They had many compliments throughout the night, but I think the true testament came when they were being bribed ( with pretty much anything the audience could find ) to carry on playing...Highly reccomended - you won't be disappointed!"
