"In my experience people only really remember the food and the entertainment at a wedding, it was therefore very important for us to find a good band for our wedding day.
We reviewed in excess of 30 bands via the Alive Network website, which is exceptionally user friendly and easy to navigate. Video clips were available for most of the bands so you could see the presentation and quality. We finally shortlisted to two bands, contacted Alive Network and had a prompt and friendly response from Gemma.
We went for The Child and they were absolutely fantastic! I can honestly say they made our wedding one to remember! Our guests are still talking about the evening reception 3 weeks later! They are a really nice bunch of guys, with great talent! I would highly recommend this band.

Playing exquisite versions of all time classics from U2 to Coldplay to The Stones and other legends such as Prince James Brown and Oasis this is a versatile group; there’s almost nothing these guys can’t tackle!
Acoustic Set The Child can perform up to 1 x 45 minutes or 1 x 60 minutes of acoustic music, perfect for afternoon performances, drinks receptions and over-dinner entertainment.
The acoustic sessions are available in a solo singer/pianist line up or an acoustic duo with vocals and 2 acoustic guitars. Songs include Somebody To Love by Queen, Jeff Buckley’s Hallelujah, When I Fall In Love by Nat King Cole and many more.
Their History The Child is an international, world travelled band that has involved many different musicians since its birth in 1999, playing everywhere to rave reviews.
Now based in London they have toured the UK intensively and played literally everywhere from Wales to Dover from Brighton to Edinburgh. They have also played in Germany France Mexico. At the moment, they are back in England from a brief tour in Argentina, where they have played at the Hard Rock Café, Bauen Hotel, The Cavern Club, Astros Theatre, etc, during the boreal summer season.
As an originals band, The Child have released 2 albums with outstanding reviews, and have performed everywhere in the London circuit: The Marquee, The Comedy, Bull & Gate, Hope & Anchor, The Water Rats, Storm, Sound, The Dublin Castle, etc.
In 2003 they reached the semi-finals of the Demo Project organized by the International Festival of Benicassim, 2003, one of the greatest festivals in pop, electro and the indie scene in continental Europe.

"Alive Network made it very easy to book our selected band. Nick was efficient, courteous and polite,- very helpful indeed and made us feel at ease - after all the band were not cheap !
The Child lived up to all our expectations and more. The band looked and sounded great - very professional. Some guests thought they had already released a hit single and thought The Child was megga!!!
Nick the front man was wonderful - incredible voice and made some covers his own! They were such a friendly, professional bunch of guys and I would not hesitate to recommend the to anyone! Their range was amazing!!!!! Loved those boys!

"I was very impressed with The Child and would definitely book them again if the occasion arose. They are a very professional band who are excellent at what they do. Myself and guests found them very enjoyable and entertaining and we thoroughly enjoyed watching them perform.
They were very friendly, polite, trustworthy, a pleasure to have at our wedding and helped make our wedding that extra bit more special. And I would recommend them to anyone.
I would also like to say a big thank you to Alive Network and of The Child for everything. Thank you!

"Wow! Wow! Wow! If you’re organising the best day of your life then you want everything to be perfect. The Child certainly didn’t disappoint at our wedding. They were truly awesome!!
I had seen The Child at a friend’s wedding 4 years ago and the first call I made after getting engaged was to book the guys to play our wedding. The Child aren’t just a cover band. They’re brilliant, talented musicians and they deliver amazing renditions of your favourite songs.
Our dance floor was full for the entirety of The Childs set and they happily satisfied the crowds demand for ‘One More Song’ by delivering one final rocking tune before leaving to deserved admiration.
If you want an excellent band that will help guarantee a night to remember then have no hesitation in booking The Child.

"As soon as we had found the Alive Network website we knew we had found our solution. The number of positive reviews from customers gave us the reassurance we were looking for.
We particularly liked the fact that one individual Alive Network representative remained our sole representative for all correspondance and arrangements throughout our whole process from the first point of contact to the day that the entertainment took place. All correspondance was professinal, fast and efficient and most importantly accurate. No mistakes were made and everything ran so smoothly.
Our band (The Child) were fantastic and surpassed our expectations. They truely rocked our party. Their live play was absolutely fantastic and their DJ service was also brilliant, all so efficeint and highly professional.
We had good dialogue prior to the day and we chose the majority of the songs we wished them to play from their published playlist, we also sent a list of our favourite DJ songs and they managed to obtain all the ones we wanted.
So many of our guests commented how good The Child were and they truely "made our night". We wish we could do it all over again and look forward to finding an excuse to throw a party in the future when we can hire The Child again!"

"In booking a band for our wedding I found the Alive Network to be an extremely friendly and professional service that quickly took me through the booking process and kept me well informed with the relevant details.
The Child were an amazing band and made the evening into a real party. Friendly and professional they got everyone up dancing and we had several requests asking who they were and how to book them.
I would definitely recommend them and book them again."

"This is the first time I had used Alive Network, and to be honest I was highly skeptical. I was concerned that the entire arrangement would not work and the band would be more concerned with popularising themselves than providing great entertainment for our wedding. I could not have been more wrong!
The website was excellent allowed me to research bands which were only available on the date of our wedding, and we could look at videos and reviews. The process with Alive Network was very simple and allowed me to know exactly what we were getting, I would definately use them again, and happily recommend them to others.
The Child - were awesome, I cannot speak highly enough of them. I picked them because they performed my favourite songs, but had a wide enough porfolio of songs that even my parents commented that they knew loads of the material and catered for all ages. Everyone had a great time and some who have up coming functions have asked for The Childs contact details. They were genuinely better than I expected and I would not hesitate in booking them again or recommending them to a friend. It was a great night.
