What Has Rose Done Before?
Born and bred in Scotland, Rose Carey is a singer and piano player whose passion for music has taken her around the globe. From Finland to Nigeria, she has performed to a wide variety of audiences, always dazzling with her natural flair and stage presence.

Whilst a student at Napier University studying for a BA (Hons) in Popular Music Composition, Rose fronted successful wedding and function bands which saw her play gigs in Nigeria, Finland and in many venues around the UK including the Gleneagles Hotel, Scotland, the venue for the 2005 G8 summit and many more.

Rose is also a seasoned and prolific composer and has written soundtracks for films, musicals and animations over the last five years for directors from the UK, Greece and the United States. Her solo career as a singer songwriter is also in full bloom.  With two previous released E.P. records in 2007 and 2009, Rose is busy working on her debut album and playing shows in many of London’s favorite venues.

What Sort Of Music Does She Play?
With an already extensive and ever growing repertoire of pop, soul, lounge, rock, Scottish folk and jazz tunes, Rose is always open to learning new material and accepts requests for upcoming gigs. From current pop hits to 50’s classics, Rose will play your favorite tunes all night long.

Rose prides herself on providing tasteful, romantic and relaxed music for your special occasion. Her unique, versatile voice and accomplished instrumental skills are evident across her well-chosen set list, which she executes with effortless energy and enthusiasm.

As solo piano and vocals, a duo or as a trio, the line up and choice of instrumentation is totally up to you. You can rest assured that throughout your day, you and your guests will always be entertained and the mood will always be beautifully set and uplifting.

What will Rosie look like?
Always classy and glamorous, Rose usually wears cocktail dresses and gowns to fit in with the theme of the event. However, given enough notice Rose can perform wearing a suitable requested outfit, i.e. Rose has performed at a masked ball where a gown and mask were needed to keep the continuity of the event.

Your Event
You can rest assured that throughout your day, you and your guests will always be entertained and the mood will always be beautifully set and uplifting. Rose is able to provide a wide variety of music playing solo piano or accompanying her vocals on piano. Songs are carefully chosen to suit each event and can include modern hits, old jazz standards and show tunes.

You can chose from one 45 minute set, up to four 45 minute sets. Rose is flexible on timings and can arrive as early as needed to set up avoiding any unnecessary interruption to your event. She is extremely flexible in the set up and delivery of each show, is able to travel to anywhere in the UK and can adjust volumes and stage plans to suit your venue, requirements and taste.

Equipment
If your venue does not posses it’s own in-house piano then Rose can provide her own state of the art digital piano that sounds just like a real life grand piano. Every single note will sound as elegant, dynamic and beautiful as you would expect from an acoustic instrument. 

Rose plays a Roland Digital Piano which runs through a mixer and speaker system that consists of a 4 channel mixer amp, with 4 balanced inputs (10 inputs total), many in-built effects including reverb and EQ andatape in/out for iPod and CD use. The system can fill a large hall as well as being quiet enough for a wedding ceremony or dinner. For vocals, Rose uses a Shure SM58 mic or a Peavey PVi2 mic with a Millennium stand. All equipment is hi end, top quality gear, all PAT tested and insured.

Rosie also provides music on CD or iPod to play in between sets so there is never a break in atmosphere.
