Jim McAllister has sung Sinatra with several Big Bands including The Syd Lawrence Orchestra (SLO), the Midland Youth Jazz Orchestra, Fat Chops, Gary Allcock Allstars & Sticky Wicket.
More recently, Jim sings in Debbie Isitt's new film 'Confetti' where he covers a number of classic hits on their sound track and he is also the voice over of Frank Sinatra himself in the trailer for the film.

He has already been booked for America and the 2005 Rotary Club concert in front of 20000 people including The Queen to be shown live on the BBC. Many seasoned professionals have stated that Jim is the best singer of swing they have ever heard!
Jim recently appeared on on the John Darvall show on Saga Radio where one of his songs was played on air. The response from John and the other presenters was "WOW!! What a voice; that WAS Sinatra. Listeners I can tell you that we have a full studio today waiting to hear Jim sing and the reaction amongst us all was WOW!!"
The Frank Sinatra Society has previously booked Jim on several occasions with many commenting that Jim is the best they have ever heard. Jim also auditioned for the Rat Pack in the West End of London and the musical Director said that Jim has the best Sinatra voice he has come across in over 35 years.
Jim has just recorded the title song for the award winning new film "Confetti" to be released in April worldwide by Fox/Universal studios. The music director chose Jim as the best Sinatra sound he has ever heard in the world. Jim sings Cheek to Cheek.
Recent venues Jim has sung at all the major theatres including his own sell out concert with an audience of over 800 at Dudley Town Hall with Chris Dean (SLO) as well as Big Band Swing weekends including The Glen Miller Festival in front of over 10000 and all types of parties from corporate to private.
Jim recently wowed another sold out audience at Liverpool's Philharmonic Hall with a 32 piece live Orchestra and has had several further sell outs around the country with the Syd Lawrence Orchestra. He has also been booked for the massive swing festival at Twinwoods at the owner's request. With weddings for corporate clients being booked 2 years in advance and even singing at event organisers' own weddings there is no better testament to Jim's quality and professionalism.
When time allows Jim enjoys singing with a touring Rat Pack show and is considering offers from Europe South Africa and the USA for tours next year.
He is also in the process of recording several original tracks one of which was written and accepted for but never recorded by Sinatra. It was given to Jim by the widow of the writer after she heard him sing and was amazed at how good he is.

"It was an absolute to pleasure to work with Jim. He was professional, a lovely chap, timely and very talented. He was super flexible on what the couple wanted and really helpful.
The guests loved him and he sounded superb. He also looked so slick and his suit was impeccable. It is always good to see an artist that is beautifully turned out.
I had a mix up with payment which was totally my fault and he was brilliant about it. Sometimes you can book people who are demanding and hard to accommodate, Jim was excellent.
I would certainly recommend him again without hesitation.

"Just wanted to say 'thank you' for giving us all a brilliant time last Sunday at Breadsall Priory, we enjoyed your singing so much. It all went exactly as I wanted - you should have seen their faces when you came into the room singing, some guests thought you were miming at first and several people came up tio me and said how good you were - hope they came up to tell you so too. The Groom's parents thought it was a Karaoke set-up on the stage - how wrong could they have been.
Anyway, I couldn't let my daughter's wedding pass by without saying how great you were and to thank you most sincerely for giving us such a good evening.

Jim McAllister was an excellent singer. He read the mood of the audience and adapted the songs he sang accordingly. We were a very small party (24) but this didn’t affect his performance and many of the guests commented on what a great singer he was.

"If I can offer you one piece of advice please stop your search for a fantastic performer and very talented singer, Jim Mcallister turned our wedding in to an even more memorable day than it already had been. He made the room gel together all ages and all peronalities were catered for his voice was breath taking and every single one of my guests asked " where did you find him ?"!
Jim Mcallister is the only act I would ever book again. He exceeded our expectations in every single way, he made some guests laugh so much they cried and he sang so movingly we were all captivated. One hundrer percent professional from entry to exit, the owner of our venue came in and asked who was singing as he was fantastic !!!!"

"Jim was very friendly, warm and approachable. I felt like I could talk very easily with him about how I wanted the night to go. Nothing I asked of Jim seemed to be any trouble. He tried his best to do everything that was asked of him.
I was very impressed by how professional he was, and would recommend him to all Alive customers. He even wore an untied dicki bow as I requested and also got the music for a particular song that meant a lot to my mom and family... It was such a personal touch and I can't thank him enough.
Jim did everything that was asked of him. We paid for the disco too and Jim played the style of music we were looking for. There were lots of different styles of music people wanted to listen to. The older people wanted a few ballroom type songs and the younger ones wanted party songs.... Jim catered or everyone and they all seemed to enjoy it.
As for Jims singing, it was note perfect. Everyone was saying how good he was and how much he sounded like Sinatra. Since the party, a number of people have been in touch to ask where we found him as they are also considering booking him in the future.
Jim sang a ' duet' with my mom (who would gladly admit is tone deaf) but he performed it brilliantly and made her feel very comfortable indeed. I printed Jim's song list for my mom to select her favourite songs, and Jim, as usual performed them all perfectly!
I really can't thank him enough for making the night so special. Would definitely recommend him!
