"Organising a large party with a very diverse set of guests, including young children and elderly family members, is always pretty challenging, and particularly so given I live in a different country from where the event would be, had no way of being there beforehand to make sure everything was set up, plus the whole party was intended to be a surprise from my wife.
In terms of organising bands I think it would have been extremely challenging and a huge time drain without Alive Network.
Francesca did a great job, she was personable, warm, adapted to the atmospheric role she needed to play without fuss or ego and, above all, sang beautifully. Many guests complimented me on the choice. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending her and Alive Network to anyone."

Francesca is an experienced and versatile singer who performs regularly in central London and throughout the UK. She performs line-ups ranging from a duo to her fantastic 9 piece band The Roadrunners ; therefore the music she performs can be adapted from light Jazz numbers to disco Motown and Soul.
The Band The Roadrunners are a high energy outfit that perform Motown soul and disco classics ranging from James Brown and Wilson Pickett through to Sister Sledge and Patti Labelle. Together with her band Francesca has entertained at a number of prestigious venues including the Park Lane Hilton Hotel The Dorchester Hotel The Grosvenor Hotel Lympne Castle Swarling Manor and Sharsted Court.
The band can be chopped into differently sized slices to match your requirements – trio quintet or 9-piece band. Why not utilise all of these band sizes to cater for an all day event?
What has Francesca done before? She has also had the priveledge of working with some of the country's top Jazz musicians including Julian Marc Stringle Dave O'Higgins Derek Nash Pat Crumly Dogby Fairweather and Mike Garrick. Last year Francesca was one of the featured artists in the 2005 Greenwich Riverfront Jazz Festival and was accompanied by two giants of the jazz world John Etheridge and Duncan Lamont. In July 2005 Francesca represented UK jazz at the Lent Festival in Maribor Slovenia and was invited back in 2006. As well as singing work Francesca is also an established studio artistand is the 'voice' for EDF Energy.
Although busy Francesca still accepts bookings at new venues. With her superb range of jazz blues rock soul and pop she is a must for corporate functions hotels and restaurants; indeed wherever a vocalist of quality is required.
Your Event Francesca has a varied setlist which means many stages of an all-day event can be catered for as well as different kinds of receptions. Slower tempo pop songs can be performed in a Jazz style (please see the setlist for song options). Francesca has her own PA system suitable for up to 200 people. Providing it fits in with a suitable genre of music and is requested with at least 4 weeks' notice Francesca will consider learning requests.

"Dear Nick,
Francesca and her band were marvellous, everyone enjoyed the variety and tempo of the music, it was a perfect start to the evening. The conga got everyone up dancing and I have some wonderful pictures of people snaking their way through the venue thoroughly enjoying themselves.
Francesca is a lovely lady with a wonderful voice and the other members of the band sure know how to play, it was fabulous, I would certainly hire them again.
I would certainly use Alive Network again; you made booking a band very straightforward, which is just what you need when you're arranging an event.

Yes the evening went very well, although it seemed to be over too quickly!
Francesca (and the pianist) were fantastic. I understand the setup went very smoothly and she was ready to play once we arrived. The music was exactly what we wanted for the party and gave a really cool atmosphere.
