About Commitments Too
As in the film the band come from all walks of life dedicating themselves to becoming “the hardest working band” of their genre and it’s that dedication and passion for soul music, that captures the audience from the moment the band explode onto the stage.
Their shows are packed full of songs that will be familiar to all generations – not only tracks from the film, such as Mustang Sally and Chain of Fools, but well known soul classics such as “Respect, Knock on Wood and My Girl”. And for those with memories that don’t quite stretch back to the originals, Commitments Too treat the audience to mouth-watering renditions of such recent chart covers as, “Lady Marmalade, Rescue Me and Hot Stuff”.
The band’s “Head Chef” – Chris Rowley, vigorously stirs the energy and passion created by the band, into a tasty mixture and before serving up the main course, invites the audience to feast on the vocal talents of the “Commitmentettes”.
The three soulful female vocalists each add their own unique spice to the recipe and together with the band; they whip the audience into a frenzy that culminates with every man, woman and child joining in an uplifting encore of Jackie Wilson’s “Lifting Me Higher”.

Many thanks for your kind wishes. We had a wonderful day. Not least because
of the Commitments Too. They blew the room away.
What can I say? They are a great bunch of people, have a stunning live show
that never lets the energy levels drop for even a second. Tremedous stage
presence and bloody good music to boot.
I am so glad that we found them. At one point during the wedding I looked
around the bar and wondered where everybody was: then I turned around and
realised that they were all up and dancing to the band.
A friend said to me "I thought you said to me this band were good?" To which
I began to prepare a defence. He then said "They are not good, they are
bloody marvellous!"
People have only just stopped talking about the night. We wanted something
to blow everyone away and we got it right with The Commitments Too.
The band were kind enough to sign our guest book, and they said it was the
best reception they had played for, so the admiration went both ways!
I keep visiting their website and searching to see if they are playing down
this way again. If ever I can find an excuse to book them again or if
someone asks me for a band I will be straight on to you.

As for Alive Network, I found Tony reliable and easy to get on with. We got
on fine when we realised we had a shared interest in footie! Please pass on
my best to him and ask him where Liverpool are in the Premiership as I can't
seem to see them in the top half of the table? (slight exaggeration!).
