Book! Mairi won't disappoint!

We were lucky enough to secure Mairi for our wedding on the 20th October 2022. I knew she would be perfect for our personal, intimate ceremony at The Priests House in Skipton. Communication was excellent and there was a willingness to learn a few songs that were special to us. Importantly, Mairi had an instinctive understanding of our requirements and I gave her a extra special brief with links to versions of the original song I wanted to walk down the isle to in acknowledgement of my father who sadly passed away before I had chance to meet him. I knew few things about him, but I did know his favourite artist and one of his most loved songs during the time he was together with my mother. I also know we have a similar taste in music as I love ‘Sailing’ by Christopher Cross too and incorporating it into the day somehow gave me a piece of him with me, something tangible. Or should I say, Mairi gave me that and I will be forever thankful for her sensitivity. She truly embraced the story and preformed beautifully. So many guests commented on our beautiful singing pianist and said how amazing Shona was. It wouldn’t have been as special without her.
