I was looking for a solo guitarist/ singer who could play a bit of music between sets. What we got was a pure entertainer, myself and my wife were bowled over by James and his choice of music to play (the guests loved him too!). From my first email to James he was very professional and helpful. He agreed to bring some lights and emailed some example set lists. There was a great mix of modern (Ed Sheran/ George Ezra etc) & older (monkees/ Beatles) music with some classic oasis and James even learnt a song that my wife had requested. The guests were up dancing, and enjoying themselves, they made some lovely comments too :) I would have no hesitation in recommending James to my friends, infact I’ve given out a few cards already. My dad did not want a big party in a hall for his birthday, and instead hoped for something more intimate with his nearest and dearest. However knowing how much he loves a good dance and sing song, we wanted to make t...”“I would highly recommend Gordon to play at any kind of function, small or large. We hired Gordon to play at a private dinner function for my dads 60th birthday back in November 2017. My dad did not want a big party in a hall for his birthday, and instead hoped for something more intimate with his nearest and dearest. However knowing how much he loves a good dance and sing song, we wanted to make the occasion super special with some live musical entertainment. Hiring Gordon for the occasion did just that. Gordon was very flexible with timings and how long his sets would last. He quietly set up at the back of the function suite without any disturbance to the meal. He was very friendly and accommodating and played a mixture of classic 70’s and 80’s hits, as well as some recent chart toppers. There was something for everyone. Gordon has a great voice, which is further advanced by his sound and lighting systems, and his engaging charm. Everyone attending the function had a fantastic night, and felt that Gordon’s entertainment really made the night what it was.
