As well as being delighted with the acts, it was a pleasure to deal with you and I must compliment you on the way you were always very quick to respond to my contacts with you and also say thank you for providing such great entertainers. I will definitely recommend Alive Network to our friends who are arranging up-coming weddings! Having read their very positive feedback and listened to the sampler CD sent to us by Gemma at Alive Network, we were relatively confident that we had chosen the right sort of sound to cater for the very varied musical tastes of our guests. However, Effigy’ performance (2 x 1 hour sets) more than exceeded our expectations: the guys were polished, professional, approachable, had a great sound and created the fabulous party atmosphere that we had so wanted to achieve. Ian, from the band, had been in regular contact with my son a few weeks preceding the wedding, giving us confidence in their professionalism in making sure everything was just right. We were also very impressed with the way they learnt the 'first dance' request (Love Song by 311) within a relatively short period of time and performed a version which was possibly even better than the original! Our one fear, prior to the day, was that a live band might be a little loud for some of our guests but that certainly wasn’t the case and the feedback we’ve had from everyone has been overwhelmingly positive: all agreed that Effigy played an important part in ensuring that a perfect day ended with an amazing party! I would definitely recommend Effigy and Alive Network to anyone currently thinking about live music for an evening wedding reception or similar event. Thank you!
