A lineup of Alive artists is performing at the Women’s Hockey World Cup 2018 in London this fortnight – the biggest female sporting event of its kind to take place in the UK.

Fans are being treated to live music by Alive artists throughout the tournament, with singer-pianist Kiara set to perform at the final on Sunday 5 August.

Kiara, World Cup Final, Sunday 5 August

After playing at the BBC Proms and the BAFTAs, Kiara will be performing at the historic final on Sunday. But will England be there?? (It's coming home...)

Singer-guitarist James Hunt kicked off proceedings on World Cup opening day, performing to a crowd of over 2,000 matchgoers. The festival regular treated crowds to new material from his latest EP, to be released later in August.

“It's been magic. Huge stages, crowd singalongs with thousands of people… it's been a privilege”

Alive artists Kelly Barnes and Marcello Michael have also been performing ahead of host nation fixtures, with Marcello opening the England vs Ireland match on Sunday with crowd anthem, Shut Up and Dance by Walk the Moon.

Said James: “The event has been magic. Huge stages, crowd singalongs with thousands of people… and the biggest women’s sporting event to be seen in this country so far. It’s been a privilege to be part of it.”

You can get tickets to see Alive Artists perform (and the world-class hockey of course...) at the England Hockey website here.
