On the 21st April, our premium rock and pop function band Hipster were booked to perform at Wolverhampton Racecourse. With a sell out crowd of 750 guests, we knew this event was not to be missed and so we sent our event reporter Kyle Keegan along to capture all the action!
On Saturday 21st April, our premium rock and pop function band Hipster were booked as the main act to perform at one of Wolverhampton Racecourse's race days. Our event reporter Kyle Keegan joined the guys on the road and captured some amazing shots of Hipster in action!
Playing to any crowd, let alone a sell out show of 750 guests, the perfect sound is key. With plenty of experience behind them, Hipster easily adapt their sound to cater any size, venue or audience.
After load in and sound check was complete, the band had a few hours to burn. Being musicians, they hit the local vinyl shops and instrument outlets.
Being quite a local gig, Hipster even had chance to catch some of the days races and place a few bets.
After no luck with winning on the horses, it was soon time for Hipster to take to the stage to do what they do best....winning over the crowd!
As with every Hipster gig, the dance floor instantly filled from the first song.
Throughout the night, Hipster received several requests to play something by Kasabian!
Saving the best till last, Hipster gave exactly what the audience wanted and set the whole place alight with their version of Fire by Kasabian!
After Hipster's electric performance, guests were sneaking backstage to meet the band and have their picture taken with the guys. With a satisfied audience, it was then time for Hipster to pack down their equipment and head off home after another fantastic gig!
"The dance floor was packed for the entire performance and the crowd loved every minute. The mix of music was great and the guys sound is brilliant. We look forward to having Hipster back at Wolverhampton Racecourse!"
