“Overdrive were absolutely amazing for our wedding! We loved their songs on alivenetwork but i suppose you never really know how someone is going to be live! Despite it being the hottest day of the year, in a marquee that felt like 34 degrees and people wanting to be outside to try and cool down, they got the party rocking, got everyone dancing and sounded amazing!! We were so happy with them and their choice of songs and a plus, all four of them were super lovely, cool guys! They were very grateful for the refreshments and set up we sorted for them which was nice. There were a few timing issues with the food that ended up changing the schedule of the day and they just changed it to suit everyone without a fuss. Cannot fault them and we feel they were amazing value for money. Would 100% recommend!”

Our stand out moment of the day included Robert - as all our guests were seated for the breakfast my husband and I stayed back to say bye to Robert and he played Simple Minds for us, so we had our own private first dance! It was a really special moment and I'm so happy Robert made that happen for us! Thank you Robert, you're amazing!”

“John communicated with us constantly, giving us reassurance about his arrival, the venue and the music we wanted played. He arrived in plenty of time to set up and prepared everything to start playing just after our secret wedding ceremony starting with "celebrate" which was absolutely brilliant. It totally made our day having the sax playing and added amazing vibes to our wedding party getting everyone up and dancing or just having it playing in the background it really was the best day. We really appreciated John travelling all the way from Glasgow to Aberdeenshire and it was excellent value for money, we would definitely recommend him and hope to use his services again soon.”

“Had the most incredible night with Throwback Thursday at our wedding this weekend! Could not recommend them enough- guests would not stop asking about where we found them or telling me how impressed they were. All 3 are so unbelievably talented at what they do as well as bringing the best energy to the party! They completely read the room and knew exactly how to get everyone up and dancing. From Alana singing our first dance song so beautifully there was not a dry eye in the room, all the way to guests attempting to crowd surf at the end of the night - the atmosphere was impeccable! We had them stay for a DJ set afterwards and would 10000% recommend as they carried on the fun into the night too! I promise you will not find a better band or more lovely individuals to interact with - so so grateful.”

“We hired The Low Down for our wedding day after they entertained at a friends wedding. They are fantastic. Everyone in the room was on the dance floor, and everyone had such a great time. The timings of our day didn’t quite go to plan, and so they were on stage slightly later than planned but we so accommodating and helpful to the changes!”

“Riptide played for our wedding - both the roaming set and after dinner - and they knocked it out of the park. The dance floor was packed all night and people could not stop talking about how good they were the next day. Even our hotel said they were the best band they’d ever seen. Also just lovely guys with incredible energy. Couldn’t recommend them enough.”
