With over a decade of experience as a professional mobile DJ, A Russell has established himself as a highly sought-after talent, able to cater to a wide range of events from weddings and corporate functions to festivals. He is the resident DJ for the festival Soul Circus and the Galaxia Boat Show based in Portugal, a testament to his exceptional music knowledge and ability to adapt to any crowd.
In addition to his work at private events, A Russell DJ has also performed for high-profile corporate clients such as Amazon, John Lewis, IBM, Pfizer, The Perfume Shop, Audi UK, Henley Festival and also has warmed up for the likes of Rudimental, Jordan North (Radio 1), DUKE, Norman Jaye NBE, DJ Yoda and The Cuban Brothers.
A Russell's expertise extends beyond simply playing music; he is a master at reading and understanding his audience, and knows how to manipulate the mood of an event to create a truly memorable experience. He takes pride in his versatility, equally adept at creating a relaxed, Ibiza-inspired atmosphere as he is at keeping the party going all night long.
He is also a regular DJ for yoga classes, delivering Deep House Yoga and also classes with a more ambient/zen vibe.

“Literally the best possible DJ we could have asked for. We’re an alternative couple who lored so well to us and our guests that it was jaw dropping. Our friends included folks who are into EDM, R’n’B and Garage and a lot of our friends and family are much older and prefer Soul, 80’s and Motown, a tall order for any DJ and yet EVERY GENRE WAS COVERED. The dance floor was full for the entire evening with banger after banger being taianaged to play a tonne of tracks that would have been obscure at other weddings, but were pitched perfectly for us. Afterwards, pretty much everyone who we spoke to commented on how amazing the DJ was. We literally cannot recommend him enough, an absolute master of his craft and an extremely nice, pleasant and easy fellar to work with.”

“We hired A Russel DJ for our wedding and what a fantastic job he did! My wife and I don't have the most mainstream music taste, and I have a particular dislike of cheesy music, which could be a bit tricky for a wedding. Luckily for us, the majority of our guests had been to many gigs and festivals with us over the years, so we knew that by playing songs from those and similar bands, he'd be onto a winner. I even said "My favourite songs aren't necessarily the ones that'll get people dancing...", not too tough a gig, eh? On top of that, it was a really warm day and most guests preferred to be outside in the cool. We (literally) put our dancing shoes on and started the party, and people joined us. I lost count of the amount of times I gave him a nod when he played an absolute tune! He later admitted that he'd never heard of some of the bands I'd mentioned, but he absolutely smashed it. It just shows the level of planning and preparation he went to make sure we had a great night. We had ...”
