“I cannot emphasize enough how incredible Robert was! He went above and beyond to make our wedding day vision come to life. He learned finger-style songs and timed them perfectly for our ceremony. He also performed at our drinks reception and played our favorite songs. Our guests were so impressed with him and he really made our day feel special and personal. He communicated so thoroughly leading up to the event and made sure all the details were sorted and that I was comfortable with everything. I can’t recommend him enough! You should absolutely book him for your event and you will not regret it. He is so talented and we were truly blown away with him!”

From start to finish, they brought such incredible energy to the night — the dance floor was full, the music was spot-on, and every single guest was raving about them. What really stood out was how genuine the guys are. They didn’t just perform and disappear; they got involved with our guests, chatted with people between sets, and even joined in with the other entertainment. It felt like they were part of the celebration, not just hired musicians. They read the room perfectly, played exactly what kept the vibe going, and made the whole evening unforgettable. “Having The Upstarts as our wedding band was a major highlight of our day. Their communication leading up to the day was fantastic and their commitment to the performance was demonstrated on the night; they had even learned a song we had requested especially for the evening. We were blown away by not only what a skilled group of musicians they are, but the lead vocals were incredible - meaning we were confident choosing a range of song styles as they performed fantastic covers with their own bespoke style, which we loved! The look and energy of the band was brilliant. They had the dance floor bouncing, got involved with the guests - Chris even came out into the crowd with his guitar! Absolute class act. They were also generally lovely people and were so friendly to everyone. We would 100% recommend these lads to anyone looking for a funky, trendy vibe for their evening wedding party.”
