Hailing from diverse musical backgrounds of the Highlands and Ireland, they seamlessly blend traditional instruments with cutting-edge sounds.
With a repertoire that spans generations, they have been captivating a worldwide audience, transcending genres and leaving an indelible mark on the evolving landscape of contemporary folk music.

The Band
For weddings, The Tartanistas usually work as a 3 piece band featuring vocals, guitar, kick drum, bagpipes, whistles and fiddle. They are able to add their drummer to the lineup for an aditional fee. Dance calling comes as standard!
The Whole Package
The Tartanistas have years of experience the length and breadth of Scotland playing for all ages and abilities, so relax and let the band take care of all your entertainment and dancing needs! As well as ceilidh dances and floor filling cover songs, The Tartanistas offer a DJ service at no extra fee and are happy to incorporate any requests into this.
Additional Services
For weddings, The Tartanistas are able to provide music at any point throughout the day - for example our bagpiper for your guests arriving, processional/recessional, and into dinner. The band can perform as acoustic solo or a duo/trio for cocktail reception or during your meal, and any other time. If you have any specific ideas or requests, please let us know.
