Sam Jones is rapidly becoming one of the finest Swing singers in the UK today and has just released his first Album – Live at Stansted Park – which went straight to No 1 in the iTunes Jazz Charts and reached No. 23 in the main album charts.
Sam Jones is a rare reflection of a bygone era where singers could really sing and is often compared to some of the greatest of all time namely Frank Sinatra and Michael Bublé. Sam has an amazing ability to emulate their style and intonation whilst delivering his music in his own unique way. You only have to witness Sam in full live flow to realise the full quality of his amazing voice.
Born in Stourbridge in the West Midlands, Sam Jones showed a great flair for music from a young age. Studying at school and college, he taught himself to play guitar and piano to a high standard, before establishing himself as a standout vocalist. Sam helped entertain the nation during lockdown releasing a great deal of fantastic videos of all the swing classics to thousands of followers. Since emerging from lockdown Sam has gone from strength to strength performing at major outdoor concerts including the Marylebone Musical Festival, the Retro Festival and Goodwood Revival.
During 2022, Sam worked in the recording studio as well as performing at a number of concerts, Christmas Lights ceremonies and a concert at Marylebone Village with the World Cup winning Lionesses. The year concluded with concerts at the Royal Opera House in Dubai with the Dubai Opera Big Band for their Christmas shows.
Sam's adventures are taking him to recording studios, notable venues and private events around the world.
