Paul J is a truly versatile singer and guitarist, capable of beautiful fingerstyle instrumentals for your ceremony and upbeat guitar and vocals for your drinks reception and beyond.
His repertoire spans the decades, with a style centred around indie, folk and blues. His distinctive voice and intricate guitar playing will create a perfect backdrop for you and your guests to have a great time.
Paul has performed as a solo artist and in original and cover bands for over 20 years, playing at bars, private parties, weddings and festivals.
Paul can set up with a range of PA equipment to suit your needs, whether it be for a large or small space, a quick turnaround, or something outdoors without power.
Paul is happy to learn song requests, and has even had guests learn songs to perform with him on stage on several occasions.
Paul can also call on his band members to add something special throughout the day. For example some violin during the ceremony, cajon during drinks reception, or a full band for the evening party. Please see booking options for more information.

“From that first email he couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. He has had wide catalogue of songs to chose from but also said he would learn anything we wanted which we couldn't believe to be honest, what a great service!!! So after getting some of his advice about what sort of music would work on the day we came up with a play list which did include a couple of Coldplay tunes that weren't in his library, so true to his word Paul learnt them for the day. We had Paul for the whole ceremony and the drinks reception before we sat down for dinner and all of our guests absolutely loved him and the music he played.
