La Dolce Vita are an authentic Italian Duo who came together out of the love of Italian classic songs of the 50’s and 60‘s. Songs that transport you back to a time of Fellini movies, Vespa scooters and balmy sunny days spent sipping wine under the Mediterranean sun. The epitome of Italian style and graze, La Dolce Vita is guaranteed to infuse any event with charm, fashion and inimitable grace.

Vocalist, Irene, was born in Milan and developed her love for singing whilst performing in choirs, musicals and church from a very young age. She also studied Jazz from the age of 16 with the renowned Italian Jazz singer Tiziana Ghiglioni at the Academy of Music in Milan.

After moving to London to continue her music studies at the University Of Surrey and then Goldsmiths College, Irene went on to achieve a Grade 8 in Classical Music and has recently completed a Masters in Music (Jazz Studies) at the Guildhall School Of Music and Drama.

She was one of the semi-finalists in The Brussels International Young Jazz Singer in 2008 and was the only European finalist in the Shure Jazz Voice Competition at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 2009. Irene has also worked as a session singer and vocalist in Spain, Italy, France, Belgium, Switzerland and the UK.

Able to perform various styles of music ranging from Jazz, Blues, Bossanova and the classic Italian Songbook, La Dolce Vita are building up a reputation from performing in venues in and around London such as the Barbican Centre, Ronnie Scott's, Pizza Express Jazz Club in Dean Street, the 606 Jazz Club, the Union Chapel in Islington, Kings Place, the Forge Venue, the Hackney Empire, Theatre Royal Stratford East, and the Djanogly Pitch at the National Theatre.
