Building Your Wedding Music Soundtrack

Why wait until the evening to bring out the live music? Many party bands can start with something stripped back for your ceremony, switch to jazz or easy listening over drinks and dinner, then bring out the full band for your evening party. Look out for all-day packages if you’d like the same musicians to soundtrack more of your wedding.

When it comes to song choices, it’s all about you. Go guitar-heavy with rock and indie, bring in soul, Motown and funk, or mix current pop with party classics that get every generation dancing. Our bands welcome your input when planning their sets and can often learn a special request for your first dance - just allow around 3-4 months’ notice.

Most evening packages include around two hours of live music, often as 2 x 60 or 3 x 40-minute sets. PA and lighting are usually included, along with party music between sets, so you won’t normally need to book a separate DJ.
