“The Low Down were brilliant. The initial communication from them was a bit lacking, but I was a little keen and was emailing them pretty early on - well before our event anyway. I just wanted to make sure everything was going to be ok. I'm sure they were really busy! Anyway, the emails I did receive from the band were great - and make me confident I had picked a really good band who understood my needs and were happy to do everything they could to make our event perfect for us. And it was! The three members of the band were lovely, very friendly, polite, and extremely talented. They knew how to play for the crowd well, and had a great repertoire of songs which was great for such a mixed audience - adults ranging from 20s to 70s. I was so impressed the whole night with their performance, and they were happy to play 'iPod' music in between from a Spotify playlist I had contributed to. Right from the start they set such a great amtmosphere on the dance floor, from even before the very first song (their sound check!) right up until their final number. Interacted with the guests on the dance floor all night aswell. Everyone who attended has asked how we found such a great band! Purple rain as final song of the night was just outstanding!! We could not recommend highly enough, and if we ever had another occasion where we needed a band these guys would be our first port of call. ” Read more

They were very polite and well presented. Then they performed! I have had messages from most of the guests saying they were the best band they have ever heard at a wedding. One of my mates who is a full time DJ asked me outside what time the band were playing, I said they are playing! He thought it was a CD! That’s how good they sounded!
