Full Biography
Classed as one of the best live bands in the Midlands, Alexa are a 4 piece, female fronted band with an extensive repertoire, playing a great mix of popular covers, including the latest chart hits and a selection of all time classics. No matter what age you are, or your taste in music, they will have something for everyone.
Alexa have played literally HUNDREDS of events all over the UK and abroad for Cruise Ships, The Ministry of Defence, The Royal Air Force, Wedding Receptions, Corporate Functions, Casinos. Holiday Parks and anywhere else you can think of!!! They have played at many prestigious venues such as Abbey Road Studios, Warwick Castle, Chatsworth House, The Cavern Club, Hilton Hotels, and most big name Holiday Parks including Butlins, Haven, Warners, Parkdean, and Pontins to name a few. They have also performed at many football stadiums including Wembley, Old Trafford, Leicester, Derby and Bolton. Members have also performed globally in Switzerland, Spain, Germany, Ibiza, California and New York City.
During their careers, Members of Alexa have shared the stage with many famous faces including: Jason Donovan, Erasure, D:Ream, ASWAD, Sonia, Mr Methane, Chris Evans, Tim Vine, Chas and Dave, Bobby Davro, members of The Who, members of The Jam, Big Country, Saara Alto, John Culshaw, Jimmy James and the Vagabonds, Alvin Stardust, Des Coleman, Ed China, Paul Hollywood, Bez - Happy Mondays, Mr Bloom from Cbeebies and Carol Kirkwood.
Alexa's shows are always professional and tailored to your venue and audience. They have a huge set list covering old and new, covering multiple styles, so will always have something for everyone. They come fully self contained with top of the range PA and lights and all the PAT and PLI certificates that your venue may require.
Additional Packages
Alexa offer acoustic sets perfect for entertainment earlier in the day (usually during drinks receptions, wedding breakfasts or as your guests arrive). The acoustic sets are performed in a relaxed live-lounge style, creating the perfect backdrop to begin your celebrations.
To ensure your event's music runs seamlessly, the band can also provide a DJ service, complete with a professional DJ rig and disco lighting. Playing a huge playlist of party hits, this service will be used before, in between and after Alexa’s live sets. You can make song requests in advance of your event and Alexa will add your requested songs to their DJ database.
If you are still looking for a little something extra, Alexa also hire out their beautiful 4ft Love Letters - with a difference! They not only light up in stunning white, but also a range of colours to suit your theme. These can be static, or colour changing, perfect for a disco and a great photo opportunity!
If your guests might also be a little peckish, the band can also hire out their gorgeous Wedding Cart decorated to your theme and filled with jars of scrumptious sweets.
