“We hired the Groove Train Band for our wedding last Saturday and it was one of the best decisions of the wedding. The band was such an important aspect to us, and Groove Train were perfect as they provided a bespoke package for us. They did a fantastic acoustic roaming set during our drinks reception, and weren’t fazed when it started to rain, simply moving inside without any fuss. After the...”“We hired the Groove Train Band for our wedding last Saturday and it was one of the best decisions of the wedding. The band was such an important aspect to us, and Groove Train were perfect as they provided a bespoke package for us. They did a fantastic acoustic roaming set during our drinks reception, and weren’t fazed when it started to rain, simply moving inside without any fuss. After the wedding breakfast they then did two incredible 70 minute sets as an 8 piece band for the dancing. We requested a few specific songs which they did brilliantly, but aside from those, they simply read the mood of the room and played songs accordingly – the dance floor didn’t empty all night! Our first dance was such a special moment, with a more mellow version of Tina’s The Best, merging into the version we all know and love to get people into the party spirit! In addition, they also performed a song not listed on their repertoire for a father-daughter dance. To finish up, we had an hour of acoustic music by the camp fire, which just allowed us to prolong the evening. Our venue had some noise restrictions, but Groove Train just liaised with the venue coordinator and there were no problems at all – you wouldn’t have known there even were noise restrictions. They also provided all of our sound systems for speeches on the day and helped manage and maintain these throughout. All of our guests commented on what a fantastic band they were, and we completely agree! Communication was easy and efficient throughout and we could not be happier with our choice. We would highly recommend Groove Train for anyone looking for a great night of music and dancing!” Read more
