“Thanks Clare Yes, the day went well and the band were fine. They were good for a wedding as there is always such a mix of ages and they played a lot of 60s and rock and roll which was good for everyone to dance to. They also learnt 'Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds'(bride's name was Lucy!) which was good of them. All in all a good experience booking with you. “Hi Mary, Thank you for your email. Alan and his Sticky Wicket band were sensational. Both we and our guests simply loved them. Alan and his Sticky Wicket band were sensational. Both we and our guests simply loved them. Not only is their music and general sound of a superb quality they were so professional and accommodating to our slightly adverse location and set-up! They simply got on with the job and you could see they genuinely wanted to be a part of our entertainment for that evening. A band was such an important part of our day and we spent some time deliberating over the kind of music we wanted and the bands available. You were so helpful in aiding our search and I thank you for your involvement. Whilst a band can sometimes be quite an additional cost to a wedding, Sticky Wicket and using Alive Network was more than worth it. They were simply sensational on the day. Please pass on my many thanks to the band. If we have a function in future or any of our friends do, we would most certainly have them back and use you. To that end I have already recommended a friend who has booked a band through Alive Network for her wedding. Many thanks for your help. Regards Charlotte” Read more

Robin C booked The Jive Aces for their event

“The Jive Aces dazzled us with colour, energy, warmth and musicality. What more could you ask for on the prime night of our weekend conference? And to add to that they engaged with the audience in an inimitable fashion. I don't think Maria will forget her 'personal serenade' in a hurry! Wonderful entertainers - professional to the core. You electrified us. Thank you.”

“Dear Paul, Yes both AC supreme and Whole Lotta Shakin were great! They played all the songs we requested and Whole Lotta Shakin did a great set! The lights and bubbles from the DJ were very fun and everyone (including the teachers!) had a good bop to all the tunes played by the band! Anyway thanks for all the help and I will definitely be recommending Whole Lotta Shakin to friends and family! ...”“Dear Paul, Yes both AC supreme and Whole Lotta Shakin were great! It was the best weekend of our lives, in part thanks to you and the phenominal 'Red Stripe Band'. They were absolutely superb and lived up to their expectation from when we saw them the first time at the 2007 Marlborough Jazz Festival. Above anything else, they exceeded our main aim which was to fill the dance floor all evening. We've had some great comments from people, who I must confess, wouldn't necessarily have put 'swing' at the top of their favourite music list, but I think the band won just about everybody over! From the moment of our first phonecall to the last dance on Saturday night, I feel as though I have been dealt with by a very professional company and would recommend you to anyone. I think you're phone manner is charming and thought the band were SO good, I wish I could thank you in person. Please pass on my thanks to Neil and his crew and tell them how much I'm looking forward to hearing their music again. I'm dissappointed I missed them at this year's jazz festival but I really can't complain having spent two weeks in paradise that they call The Seychelles. Rebecca, thank you for all your help, Kind regards, Paul” Read more
