Right from the get go they showed a real interest in getting to know us and what exactly we wanted for our big day. I want to give special thanks to Sera who was our lead booking contact, she was absolutely fantastic - always available to answer questions and I always felt that nothing was too much of a problem. We had some very bespoke requests and nothing was too much of an issue and she made sure it all happened. On the day itself, the band were truly incredible. We booked the acoustic duo for our lawn reception and the 5 piece for the evening. Both were amazing. They brought so much energy to their performances and in the evening had everyone up and dancing all night long. My guests are still saying how great the band was! We are so glad we followed our gut and went ahead and booked with this band. If you hunting through lists of bands and are unsure who to choose, stop. They have a great repertoire of songs and read the crowd perfectly in each of the performances, keeping everyone coming back to the dance floor. From the beginning, the communication with Dan and then Alex was so easy, they were up for all the requests and questions I made and nothing was too much trouble. Fast forward to the wedding day, they arrived on time, set up quickly and did a perfect version of our first dance song, Lover by Taylor Swift. Their voices and little subtle changes to the song made it feel so personal and special for us, they gave it a wonderful subtle indie vibe so it didn't feel too pop-y and they just sounded incredible I was trying not to cry throughout the whole thing. I wish I could have their version recorded to reminisce at home. They really know how to play, their voices were perfect, their set list was amazing!! So many people commenting on the diverse set list, they had something for everyone. I didn't request any specific songs (apart from the first dance) I just put my trust in their judgement and I'm so glad I did. Their 3 sets were so much fun, every guest commented on how amazing they sounded, they assessed the crowd constantly and changed their set list accordingly depending on the age and energy on the dance floor. They were even great sports when one of our guests jumped up to use the mic at one point! We went over during one of the breaks to thank them and we got big hugs and huge smiles, such lovely lovely lads, having people like this on your wedding day really do make such a difference to the mood and vibe of the night. People were on the dance floor throughout, and once the pizza was served and energy restored to the guests the dance floor was packed! I really wish we had more excuses to book bands in the future because I would love to see them again and dance the night away. They really were the best band I've ever heard at a wedding, they were the perfect fit for us and if I had to do this all again I would book them again in a heart beat. I could gush about them for days, if you are umming and ahhing about picking the perfect band, you've already found them so book Riptide before they're gone.” Read more
