Booking Dexter through Alive Network was very easy and very professional. A contract was included to cover ourselves, Alive Network and Dexter which gave us great confidence in Alive Network’s service. Clare at Alive Network was excellent in organising our booking, being very helpful and prompt. We liaised with Martin and Steve from Dexter prior to the wedding to agree our first dance track, the overall playlist throughout the night, and confirm arrangements. They were both extremely friendly, polite, and professional. They were also extremely helpful with confirming the exact timings of their live sets and DJ sets for the evening, obviously using their extensive experience in suggesting what normally works best. Dexter’s performance was awesome! The quality of the singing and the music itself were absolutely amazing from the very first song to the last. We booked three 50 minute sessions with DJ sets in between. This worked perfectly, providing a great mix of live music and recorded chart music, all of superb quality. The live performance by Dexter was the highlight of the evening and ensured that the dance floor was kept busy with guests from all age groups. We cannot fault any part of Dexter’s service and we therefore highly recommend this amazing band. A huge thank you to Dexter from both of us and from all of our guests. We asked at the start of the evening if they knew Hey Jude as the Bride is called Jude, but they did not know it.... they finished the evening with Hey Jude having spent time on the interlude learning it. It would have pleased even Paul McCartney- simply spot on! I can unreservedly reccommend them to anyone who wants a first class band for their function. They made many friends that night.
