“Alex & Jaques were a big hit with us and all of our guests (of all ages) They were a little late (due to flooding en route) so their sound check was delayed but apart from that they were a dream band. Very professional with a good sense of fun, impressive repertoire and accommodating too; they learned a new song so my daughter & I could join them on stage. Many of our guests said they were amazing, and asked where we had found them. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Alex & Jacques.”

“Groove City performed at our wedding reception last weekend. They exceeded our highest expectations. It was very important to use to have a fun band to ensure the dance floor was full the entire night. Groove City did just that. They contacted us prior to the event and we were able to choose songs from their set list that we wanted to hear. Their set list was expansive and covered many different genres to keep everyone happy & dancing. They also learned 3 songs for us! Which we felt was above and beyond. We received so many compliments from guests for how great they are. We highly recommend hiring them for your next event - you won’t be disappointed!”

Chris and George are both very friendly and care about giving you the sounds you want as well as using their experience in judging the audience. They played hit after hit with amazing sounds, everyone said this band was fantastic and the landlady is interested in booking them again for another event in the pub. They certainly get you dancing very quickly. ”
