“We got married on 01.11.2025 and booked Hipster to play at our wedding, and they were phenomenal! Joe’s communication before the big day was fantastic - warm, friendly, and genuinely excited to be part of our celebration. On the night, our guests were blown away by the band’s energy, enthusiasm, and amazing musical talent (even during their sound check!). They were so accommodating when dinner and speeches ran over, and even made my “emo hour” dream come true with such good humour. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better band - they made our night unforgettable. We would 1000% recommend Hipster to anyone looking for incredible live music for their event. “Michael was absolutely amazing - what a talent. We opted for Ibiza Style Sax and we were blown away. Firstly, Michael was so easy to communicate with and sent us all the relevant information and the songs he had listed to play, allowing us to pick specific ones or request that we avoid them. He also liaised with the DJ, which was one less job for us. Firstly, he entertained our guests during the canapés and drinks whilst we had our photos taken. Then he kicked off the evening on the dance floor and what a job he did… nearly every single person was on that dance floor - from 3 years old to 76 years old. I have had a number of messages after the wedding saying how fantastic he was and how it was one of the best weddings they’ve been to! Thank you for making our day that little bit more special Michael - you were great.”

“From our initial contact, Lucinda demonstrated exceptional professionalism, attentiveness, and warmth. During our preliminary Microsoft Teams meeting, I outlined the event brief, and she listened with great care, offering insightful and creative suggestions that reflected her considerable experience. Following this discussion, Lucinda prepared two outstanding set lists — an elegant fusion of dramatic opera, smooth jazz, and contemporary pieces, each thoughtfully curated with either strong or subtle Halloween influences. On the evening of the event, Lucinda arrived well in advance to set up her stage equipment and conduct a thorough sound check prior to the arrival of our guests. From her stage within the marquee, she presented a striking visual presence, her elegant attire complementing the setting beautifully. Throughout the performance, Lucinda captivated the audience with her remarkable vocal talent and commanding stage presence. Despite the stormy weather and intermittent heavy rain, her voice carried effortlessly, maintaining its clarity and strength against the elements. Lucinda is an exceptionally talented, professional, reliable, and sophisticated performer of the highest calibre. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone seeking a world-class act to elevate their event. I can't wait to book her again.”
