“First of all apologies for not getting back in touch sooner but we only got back from our honeymoon last week and things have been one mad rush since then. We had a fantastic wedding day and everything went perfectly - thankyou. A HUGE thankyou to Alive Networks and in particular Hipster themselves. They were outstanding and I have been inundated with compliments from the guests. Some say that they were actually better than the original singings of the tracks!! Most simply say what a day - what a band. They are hugely talented and I wish them the very best for their future. They were very helpful and friendly and very approachable which made our day nice and relaxed. Once again, thanks to all at Alive network and I would recomend you to anyone. Cheers, ”

“Hi Pete, Sorry it’s taken a while to get back to you. Hipster were fantastic, they really rocked and certainly made Michael's 40th party go down a storm. I was a bit concerned that we only had 64 people and whether everyone would be up dancing. I need not have worried; everyone was up and enjoying the music. The guys were all really polite and presentable and were very accommodating to our rowdy friends! They played a great mix of music and listened to our requirements. I have just recommended them for a company party we are holding early next year so I really hope to see them again soon - all our guests have commented to me this week about how fantastic they were too. Once again, thanks for all your help. ”

“Thanks for your congratulations!! Our wedding day was totally amazing- we loved every minute of it. Choosing Hipster was certainly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. They were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Everyone was up dancing and so many of our guests have commented on how good they were and that they were the best band they had ever heard at a wedding reception. One thing that I will always remember is when they did their own rendition of Andy Williams' classic "can't take my eyes off you" All of the guests surrounded my husband and I in a large circle and Hipster ensured everyone was dancing for it - it was brilliant. Thanks very much - I'll be certainly happy to recommend Hipster to anybody! ”

“Thank you for your call last week. Please pass on an enormous thanks to the team at Alive Network and Hipster for their fabulous performance at The Blush Ball 2007. Hipster were on great form and I have never seen a dance floor fill so quickly - they really are fantastic. Thank you for all of your help in booking them and getting them all there on time etc. As always Alive Network is such an efficient set up and takes so much of the hassle out of booking a band. Please pass huge thanks on to them. The Blush Ball was a wonderful evening and much enjoyed by our guests. We are thrilled to announce that the final total is in excess of £207,000, which is significantly more than we hoped to raise. Emily Maitlis was a very glamorous host, Rory Bremner had everyone rolling in their seats and then went on to run a very successful auction. Guests were entertained by a fashion show from Ben de Lisi, an outstanding performance by Jack Savoretti and Kim Medcalf's stunning performance as Sally Bowles from Cabaret. All before Cabaret took the Museum by storm!! Breast Cancer Haven receives no government funding and we rely totally on events such as The Blush Ball and donations to continue funding our vital service and to be able to build new Havens nationwide, so your support really is hugely appreciated. Breast Cancer Haven supports the physical and emotional needs of anyone affected by breast cancer. At what is often a frightening and lonely time, the Haven is a place any patient can visit, free of charge, to receive support, counselling and complementary therapies all under one roof. Our doors are open to anyone affected by breast cancer, whether it be the patient themselves or their friends and loved ones who often need support and information to enable them to cope with the far-reaching effects of this illness. With your support we are one step closer to our aim of opening the third Haven in Leeds by 2008, and ultimately to being able to provide our unique combination of support and therapy to every person in the UK affected by this terrible illness. “Just wanted to say that myself and Rob thought that Hipster were the icing on the cake at our wedding. Our wedding day had gone perfectly and their two performances certainly made the night end on a high. Many of our guests have commented on just how fantastic they were - not just at revving up the crowd but also in their professionalism and varied set list. There is nothing better than seeing older generations of your family jumping up and down alongside your friends to the Arctic Monkeys or doing the hand actions to Hey Ya! The band managed to pull off so many different styles of song with ease that they appealed to the whole room and no one wanted them the finish - least of all us. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and hope that you will pass on our thanks for helping to make our wedding such a special day. Thanks also to yourself and Zoe for making the arrangements - we appreciate it. ”

“I wonder if you could just pass on to the band our thanks for doing such a fantastic job. Since we got back from honeymoon everyone has been saying that they were just the best . They really kept the party going and were great characters and obviously very talented musicians. We have had so many people comment on how brilliant they were - and Andrew and I particularly loved the final 'I love you Baby' track with everyone dancing around us in a circle.
