“Hi Tony, We have just got back from from hacking through the jungles of Borneo and have not stopped singing the songs that had everyone up pogoing at our wedding. Everyone has been asking after the band including a mate who runs expat clubs in the far east if the guys are interested! I'm sure you will have some calls soon... The band were absolute gentlemen and keyed into the crowd fantastically well; We will never forget the whole wedding party jumping up & down to Franz Ferdinand etc...Even my Mother-in-law & father-in-law!! I even got on my knees for Raena while being circled by everyone singing 'I love you baby...etc!' Very unlike me... We can't thank you & the Hipster guys enough. “Dear Matt, Thanks for your email. We had such a fantastic day, Hipster were absolutely fantastic and totally brought the party to life. They were happy to take requests and be flexible with their set list and it seemed they had a great time playing to a mixed crowd of older groovers and indie kids. Everyone was totally blown away by the band and we can't thank them enough for the energy and fun that they rounded the day off with. Seemless, faultless and their extensive repertoire meant everyone, even my granny had a boogie! We can't thank them enough and I sincerely hope they secure some more gigs as a result - there were many admirers. We go to a lot of gigs ourselves and it was so brilliant to finish the day off with loads of our favourite songs and just go a bit crazy! I will highly recommend both Alive Network and Hipster to friends for weddings and corporate events (I work in events myself!). Couldn't have asked for more. Thanks for everything. “Hi Pete, We are back from our honeymoon now and I just wanted to drop you a quick note to say how fantastic Hipster were! I was pleasantly surprised. As you know, it's so hard to get everything right at weddings and booking a band over the internet, who I hadn't heard of or been recommended was a bit of a risk. Even though I had heard their CD and seen the testimonials I am always a bit dubious about these things, so I was so thrilled when they sang our first song, Better Together, which they learnt especially for our wedding. They were absolutely amazing all night and really got the crowds going. Every single one of our guests thought the band was brilliant and I hope you will get more business from them. The night ended with Adam and I head banging on the stage and spraying champagne all over our guests...very rock n' roll!
