“If you read only ONE line of this review...BOOK THE LADY SINGS VINTAGE FOR YOUR EVENT! From the initial phone contact with Paula, to her saying goodbye on the day, our time and experience was 100% positive in every way. My wife and I were able to choose from a huge set list of songs from various musical era's and genre's and Paula seamlessly organised all our favourites into a cracking party playlist for our wedding reception. By the third song, she had guests up dancing and by the second set, my 86 year old Auntie (who walks with two sticks), was throwing her shapes on the dance floor! Paula absolutely made our wedding day! We had guests from the age of 7 to 86 and we can honestly say that each and every one of them loved Paula's performance. Many spoke to her themselves to thank and praise her and many more told us how impressed they were and that they'd be either booking her themselves or would attend venues she'd be performing at in the future! Paula looked stunning in her classy vintage dress and her fabulous voice entertained our party and the local York residents, who sat out on their apartment balconies with a drink to lap up the free entertainment! What makes Paula so special, is that she instantly felt like a friend and one of our guests, not just a singer we'd booked for our wedding entertainment. Her warm, open and down-to-earth personality, instantly puts you at ease and she has a brilliant Yorkshire accent and sense of humour! I loved that as I returned from the bar with a drink to keep her refreshed during her break, I found Paula sat amongst all my family, laughing and joking. We felt happy to see her enjoying the day with us and confident that our entertainment was in good hands. Our 8 year old son was desperate to sing a duet with Paula and we loved how accommodating and kind she was. Some artists would be precious about their professional set being gatecrashed unexpectedly, but Paula embraced the request and handed him his own microphone! Our family really liked and admired her for going with the flow and making the day special for everyone. She really went the extra mile. So if you're considering booking The Lady Sings Vintage and need a little persuasion to choose this incredibly talented Yorkshire lass, let me leave you with this... I showed my son the official wedding photo's and laughed at how happy he looked on his photo's with Paula and he turned to me and said... "What you laughing at Mummy?...I was living my BEST LIFE that day!!" I think coming from an 8 year old boy...that says it all. ”

“Lady Sings Vintage was an amazing show. The set was fantastic for all ages and nothing was too much trouble with all requests catered for. Paula has the most amazing period voice that sounds like it came out of the best the period could have ever put on stage and she looks stunning. Her notes and voice was absolutely amazing. Paula was charming professional and had everyone dancing and singing along. To say Paula made the event from start to finish would not be an understatement. I would highly recommend her for any event no matter the size !”

Making plans with Paula was simple and easy, we chatted for ages on the phone like we already knew one another! Her voice is so beautiful and suited to the genre of music she sings. Her performance really made our evening and had everyone up dancing and enjoying themselves! Every single guest commented on how great she was! She was so lovely with our 4 year old daughter who wanted to sing and dance with her it wasn't a problem with Paula she let her get involved which made the night even more special. Could not fault anything at all and would highly recommend Paula to anyone wanting an authentic vintage performer at there event!”
