Rakish Paddy are a lively ceilidh band, complete with an optional knowledgeable and inspiring caller, the key to a good evening's dancing.
Formed in 2006 by friends who had played professionally together for several years in various musical combinations, Rakish Paddy features a mixture of guitar, fiddle & bass, with the option of piano, drums, whistle and accordion if you would prefer a larger line-up (please see booking options).
As well as performing Traditional Irish music, they can also include some Scottish and Country music in their set too; with styles ranging from a delicate melody to a storming sound.
Punctual and professional, and bringing a marvellous atmosphere to any party or gathering, Rakish Paddy are the ideal band to play in a variety of settings from dance halls to your garden party, and living rooms to ball rooms.
