MGI Live Caricature is one of the UK’s finest and most in-demand live caricaturists, with an immensely confident, clean style and rare ability to capture spookily accurate likenesses! Combine this with a friendly, genuine personality and easy ability to converse with people from all walks of life, and you have an unbeatable entertainment choice that will have guests talking for years to come.
Working from a traditional easel with nothing but black and grey marker pens (i.e. “the old-fashioned way”) clients and guests regularly tell the artist how magical it is to see a blank sheet of paper explode into life with hilarious, perfectly exaggerated likenesses of their friends, loved ones and colleagues, and at such speed: each subject is usually captured in five minutes or less!
MGI Live Caricature has been a professional caricaturist and humorous illustrator for over twenty years. His career so far has seen him create thousands of caricatures at events all over the UK and beyond, win international awards for exaggerated likeness, and work as the acclaimed character designer behind ITV’s ‘Newzoids’. He has also performed caricatures aboard Celebrity Cruises in Scandinavia and the Mediterranean, and has had illustrations personally commissioned by Jack Whitehall and the BRIT Awards.

“What we can we say originally we booked for 2 hours, but then a week before our wedding we had contact to extend to 3 hours!! Mike was an absolute hit all night from when he got there constant queues to the point they was still queuing when he was meant to go, we then spur of the moment asked Mike to stay on for another hour, the guests absolutely loved him and said he made our night!!!! We are also delighted with Mike and his work - it also turned out he had done our brother & sister in laws wedding invitation years ago we would deffo recommend Mike to anyone looking for chariacturw work”
