* Previous experience includes performing for Kevin Spacey's Celebrity Gala, on BBC Radio and opening for Joss Stone and The Streets!
Not every artist can count Academy Award winner Kevin Spacey amongst their fans but Athena can do just that. They were requested to perform to a star studded audience at the famous London Old Vic Theatre’s Celebrity Gala in November last year. Described by BBC Radio as “simply superb”, they have also been invited to perform live on air on the UK’s biggest radio station many times.
With a beautiful voice and repertoire of catchy covers, Athena have opened concerts for many household names such as Joss Stone’s band “Yes Sir Boss” , multi-platinum selling ‘The Streets’ vocalist Leo, & Middle Eastern sensation Yasmine Hamden.
Being a classically trained guitarist (The Academy of Contemporary Music- which boasts alunmi such as Newton Falkner and Ted Dwane from Mumford & Sons), and a vocalist trained at the Point Blank Music School alongside artists such as Leona Lewis & Alexandra Burke, Athena have the professionalism and performance skills to really shine at your event.
