"We found your website when first starting to search for a band, and we were thrilled to have stumbled across such a fabulous site with a whole array of genres of music to choose from. We immediately starting tapping ideas into the search criteria and were amazed at how much information you had on the site. From set lists and sound bites, to availability and prices it was all there.
Our biggest fear was booking a band that we hadn’t seen but we really wanted a band that none of our friends had seen before. We felt at ease once we had made an enquiry and spoke to a real person as opposed to solely communicating through email. We really liked the “agency” vibe of Alive Network, especially as we made a few enquiries about bands to start with before making our decision. We felt in good hands that the team were liaising with the band, and even when we made a last minute change to the schedule, we weren’t made to feel like it was a problem which we much appreciated especially as the build up to a wedding is so stressful!
We were over the moon with our choice to book The Quartones. They were professional, organised, and passionate about what they played. They played for our welcome drinks, and we added a male singer for the evening reception. They went above and beyond our expectations and we have had many comments from our guests about how good they were. Our first dance was booked as their last song, and even though we were late they didn’t rush us at all but just carried on until we were ready. We really did feel that they had our interests at heart. We would highly recommend both The Quartones and Alive Network, considering how stressful it is to plan a wedding we felt at ease and looked after throughout the entire process."

The Quartones is a highly sought-after events band made up of young professional freelance musicians.
As a band, The Quartones have provided entertainment for a whole variety of different events around the UK. Weddings, corporate events and parties have all been catered for and the band provide a highly desirable level of customer service.
From background dinner jazz to more up-beat songs, the band can tailor a set list to suit a client's needs and can also provide them with a whole variety of line-ups including the addition of stunning male or female vocals and also other instruments such as Trumpet, Clarinet, Trombone or Vibraphone.
Versatile in style, the band can also add a guitarist to play more music to suit a rock/pop style. This is ideal for clients who require a jazz band for reception/meal, and then a more lively pop-style band in the evening.
As individuals, collectively, the members have played in UK-wide tours, on London's West End and have also played in sessions for independent films based in the UK and USA.
Your Event The Quartones are proud to be able to supply you with a very professional service with minimal effort for the client. With all four members being experienced in many types of events in the music industry, be assured that they know how to approach prepare and perform at an event and also boast great customer service and liaison.
Flexible with regards to set-timings, the band are free to negotiate event to event. Most popular requests are usually 1 x 60 minute set + 1 x 45 minute set, or 2 x 60 minute sets.
The band dress well and look sharp and professional.
The Quartones provide all equipment needed for their performance. As long as there is access to plug sockets, the band can do the rest!

"The complete process of searching, booking, paying and coordinating was easy and efficient. The Quartones were excellent. I wish I had more opportunities to hire them! "The Quartones performed at our wedding on 21 April 2012 and in terms of delivering everything we had looked for, they exceeded our expectations. One of our requirements was for a band that 'looked the part' i.e not only did they play well but they looked sharp. What we got was 4 very well presented, polite, professional and personable young men, all very talented musically.
In terms of performance they were excellent with a wide repertoire which covered all of our requests and more. Not only were we delighted with their performance, but all of our guests were hugely impressed and never stopped remarking how good they were. The Quartones performance helped to round off a perfect wedding .
It is hard to single any of them out, however I dealt with James Hulme in advance of and at the event and he is an extremely polite and charming young gentleman.
Our biggest concern when it came to booking artists for the wedding was that it took place in a remote part of Northern Scotland. Alive Network were able to allay our concerns with assurances that the artists would be there and in the event of an emergency they had contingency plans to provide replacements.
I have to say that the service from Alive Network was from start to finish first class. They delivered exactly what they said they would deliver and they were on top of the whole booking process from first contact through to delivery on the day. I would not hesitate to use them again as experience shows that what they say is what you get, nor would I hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
If you are looking for a first class service backed by guarantees - look no more.

"Dear The Quartones,
I am writing on behalf of the Production Team for BBC3’s series, Young Talent.
We’ve finished recording all of the episodes now and have left the glorious weather of Suffolk for the doom and gloom of rain in Manchester.
We just wanted to say a huge thank you for all of the help and assistance you gave us when we were preparing for filming and during the filming process. It sounds like a cliché but we honestly couldn’t have done it without you.
We have been given a provisional transmittance date for the series for January 2012 so look out for any advertising with the lovely George Lamb on BBC3 around then.
We wish you all the best of luck with your work, hopefully without our constant interruptions you’ll be able to get more done.
Many thanks again and don’t worry, we’ve got all of your details so look out for us next year when we’re in the middle of Series 4, you can run but you can’t hide!!!
