Mariachi King played at our Xmas drinks party in north London. They arrived on time, started the party by playing their opening number as they came down the staircase into the main sitting room, and proceeded to play 2 sets plus an encore that broke smiles onto the faces even the most hardened Xmas cynics. We had a wide age range present, and the 20 somethings were the first to start dancing and singing along with the band . What was special was that the band were astute enough to gauge the mood of the room, and played accordingly, which resulted in a room full of people dancing and singing as they played their final 2 numbers walking through the room to huge adulation… The fact that 50 people were baying “one more song, one more song“ at the end is testimony to the level of fun these guys bring to an event.
