Dear Clare, I have just finished clearing up and was then going to email you! Burgundy Boater Band were a HUGE success on Sunday, and everybody thought they were exactly right for the occasion. They were professional but relaxed and friendly and played the right sort of music - firstly for while we were finishing lunch and later for livelier dancing. John had a lovely birthday and the band made a huge contribution to that. Please thank them very much and tell them how much they were appreciated. Thank you, also, for doing the arranging.
