From the very first song, they brought incredible energy and set the perfect tone for the evening. Their first 45-minute set was packed with brilliant song choices that had everyone on their feet and dancing. Also to add to what was already a great night they sang a rendition of Happy Birthday to one of our staff members and learnt and performed a song by The Smiths for our CEO who is a super fan. For the second set, we decided to mix things up with a work ‘bandeoke’—and it was an absolute highlight! Staff members got the chance to sing their chosen songs with the band, and The Leaners made it unforgettable. They were so supportive, encouraging every singer and getting the whole room cheering and buzzing with excitement. One staff member said “it was a lifetime ambition unlocked to get to sing with a live band, absolutely incredible”. The setlist was professionally done and was dynamic enough to follow the vibe of the evening a more drinks were consumed!
