Madhu performed at one of these events on her own, and was able to bring Andy and Tracy with her to the other, solving a problem for us and ensuring we had a variety of entertainment for the duration of our event. The quality was outstanding and the variety of music was great - there was the perfect mix of old favourites, dance tunes and some Christmas songs. All three judged the audience perfectly and had people dancing into the evening, after the event had officially finished in fact! What made Madhu even more of a pleasure to work with was her flexibility - we all know how unpredictable the British weather can be, but she performed outdoors in the cold and the rain to ensure our event went smoothly and we didn't have to change any of our plans to accommodate the weather.” Read more

The best wedding band I have ever heard!

5 stars - Velvet Lounge are Highly Recommended
Aby D booked Velvet Lounge for their wedding in Hampshire • December 2025

“We don’t know where to begin. As a wedding planner myself, I have worked with a ton of bands over the past 6 years. I knew for my own wedding, I wanted the music to reflect my husband and I rather than be a ‘classic’ wedding band. We decided we wanted jazzy vibes with gorgeous music you could bob around to with a cocktail in hand. We aren’t big dancers, so this criteria felt perfect for us. We searched online for so many jazz and electro swing bands with an edge, and then we found ‘Velvet Lounge’. Paul the band lead (also on sax) was such a delight - a super fun, friendly and lovely man who gave us tons of information and help in the run up to the wedding. The repertoire of song choices to choose from was excellent, my husband and I enjoyed listening to the full list of songs in the run up to the wedding to create the perfect 3 band sets. Our guest list was mostly friends in their late twenties, and we had our parents and grandparents there too, there was songs from all eras to suit everyone! Paul was quick to respond via email, and always super helpful and friendly. They even asked what style of clothing they should wear, and came dressed head to toe in glitter which was perfect for our Christmas wedding. When the band arrived on the night, they couldn’t have been a more lovely bunch of people. Super chatty, friendly and they almost felt like extra friends at the wedding. They blended in seamlessly and seemed excited to be with us which was so gorgeous. Denquar the lead singer - the most incredible voice and the most beautiful lady we have ever seen! Think smokey luxury whiskey bar vibes jazz style singing. She just blew our minds, along side all of the live instruments, just pure magic. One of mine and Mikes most memorable moment of the day was being taken for couple photos in the evening just outside the room the band were setting up and doing their sound check in. We were mid photo, and Denquar and the band began singing/playing the song ‘A night like this’ and Mike and I just looked at each other wide eyed, with goose bumps with how insane they sounded. We literally couldn’t wait for them to begin performing. We didn’t expect the style of music to be the type that required a ‘official’ dance floor, and as we arent big dancers, we didn’t expect to dance much. However, the moment we heard the band begin to play, us and our entire wedding party came running from the bar to the dance floor. They created the most magical, atmosphere, adding Christmas songs in between songs too. Our wedding party couldn’t believe how good the band were, and I can honestly say I think the band were my favourite part of the entire day. I keep looking for every excuse under the sun to have another celebration and invite the band to play for us again. I cannot recommend Velvet lounge enough! ?? thank you for bringing the most incredible atmosphere to our wedding day. You guys really are just incredible. I will 100% find an excuse to hire Velvet lounge for a personal event one day again!” Read more

Her recent solo performance at the Riverside Studios in Hammersmith proved once again that we are in the presence of a true musical original—an artist who weaves the elegance of classical instrumentation with the soul of jazz. Lena Reising’s harp is no mere accompaniment—it sings, it sways, it shimmers. In her hands, this majestic instrument becomes a jazz storyteller, whispering lyrical echoes of both the past and the possible. Each pluck and glissando was met with rapt attention, the harp's golden tones creating a soft, cinematic glow around her silken vocals. Her voice, textured like silk and steeped in a quiet power, slides gently into the heart of every song, caressing jazz standards and original compositions alike with emotional grace. What sets Lena Reising apart is not only her exquisite musicality but the rich atmosphere she conjures. The performance was more than a concert—it was an invitation into a sonic dreamscape where time slowed and the world softened. From delicate bossa novas to jazz classics, each number flowed like a velvet ribbon, warm and immersive. Lena Reising doesn’t just perform jazz—she redefines it through her unique lens, blending the sophisticated textures of classical instrumentation with the improvisational heart of the genre. Her performances at Riverside Studios are a testament to the enduring allure of live music that stirs the spirit and lingers in the soul. If you have the chance to witness her live, do not hesitate. You’ll walk away not just entertained, but deeply moved” Read more

Working with e-SAX was so easy from start to finish . Easy to book , professional and reliable. Extremely talented musician that worked with our venue DJ perfectly and played many songs from our days of night clubs and holidays which guests loved . We included mixed eras to please age groups and every single song was played amazingly. We purchased inflatable saxophones for the children but have received videos of adult guests that normally don’t step foot on a dance floor up dancing and pretending to play alongside having a fantastic time !! We genuinely cannot recommend highly enough honestly , absolutely the best decision we made for our evening reception and will always recommend to others !! Thanks again for everything and making our wedding reception amazing ! Even our venue commented on what a fantastic atmosphere it was :) (10 / 10)” Read more
