After consulting several groups, I found this trio to be one with a great deal of experience and many satisfied customers. We required traditional music for the ceremony and some more "light hearted" and upbeat music for the following reception. All of our requests were happily accepted and performed on the day. This group clearly has a large repertoire to suit all tastes and a highly professional approach to their performances. The City String Trio produces a full sound and you would be hard pressed to tell the difference between this trio and a quartet. They arrived at the church in plenty of time before the ceremony, and then moved on to the reception venue, ready to play before any of the guests had arrived. In short, they added a huge element of class and style to help make my daughter's day perfect. I would highly recommend the City String Trio without any hesitation.” Read more

When I’d decided on what I needed the actual booking was really easy and having a personal contact really made me feel confident that I was being taken care of. All promises of contact and pre-event checks happened exactly as was stated so I just knew there would be no issues on the day - and that meant I could focus on other aspects that needed my attention. The choice of Status Cymbal was an important and critical element to our event. We wanted someone who could entertain and offer a linkage through many aspects of the day... from our vows ceremony through lunch and into late afternoon. Status Cymbal handled this with absolute ease, varying the choice of music to suit the occasion and keep everyone in a celebratory mood. They checked with me at various points of the day as to what I needed and were great at advising as to what they could do to keep the guests entertained. They turned up on time, looked great, rehearsed with another performer whom they had not previously met, and performed beautifully, first on their own and then during the ceremony with US singer Matt Alber. We could not have been happier as the music was beautiful and all our guests commented on what a truly magical day it was. Additionally, Gemma at Alive Network was professional and supportive during the booking process and leading up to the day, so we were able to enjoy our day rather than worry about anything being less than perfect. ” Read more
