“The Licks are hugely talented. The music they performed went beyond our expectations in variety of music and tastes. At our wedding our first dance was Fly Me To The Moon which they performed at exactly the right tempo of the great man himself. Just as well as that was the speed we’d practiced to! They did 3 x 45 minutes sets for us which we thought would be pushing it vocally but as the evening wore on Sarah pushed herself to achieve among many others the strong vocals of Sweet Home Alabama without an hitch – wow they rocked! During the guitar solos Dan proved himself a match and had the entire dance floor cheering him on for more. At the end Sarah stayed on to extend the iPad playlist to midnight and still kept the floor full. I can only say a big Thank You to The Licks for really making our wedding so memorable. ” Read more

Come the actu...”“Having not been too impressed by other acts available elsewhere in the price range we were entranced by Carley's stunning voice. We instantly got in touch and from there on in the correspondence we had with them was superb. They were so attentive to our needs and really showed an eye for detail in ensuring they had all the information they needed to provide the best service possible. Come the actual day they were able to set up their equipment exactly as we had requested and caused us no added extra stress on our big day. For that alone we are eternally grateful. Carley and Matt showed professional know-how in perfectly setting up their equipment to ensure the sound levels for the backing singing during the wedding breakfast was at the perfect level for the guests to enjoy, while also being able to hold a conversation amongst themselves. Then during the evening they were able to up the sound levels and provide a superb repertoire for our guests and by the end of the night the majority were up on the dance floor. All of our guest commented how much they enjoyed the entertainment and we are sure this played a huge part in our loved ones enjoying the day as much as we did. They were simply superb and in my opinion a full dance floor plays testaments to the bands ability to entertain. We honestly feel that without these guys amazing performance that the wedding reception may not have been as enjoyable for our guests and we again are eternally grateful for all their hard work, professionalism and talent. Added to this they are a very polite and kind hearted couple who are clearly passionate about making your special day that extra bit special. Would I book again?
